QUICKMECHANIC PROVIDER
Privacy policy
This policy explains how the QuickMechanic Provider app handles information when mechanics register, become available for work, and complete service requests.
Last updated: 1 October 2026
This policy covers the QuickMechanic Provider app. It does not describe an unrelated food business or another developer's app.
Information we collect
- Account and profile details: name, contact information, login details, service capabilities, availability, and profile information you provide.
- Verification details: information and images you submit for mechanic identity or business checks, such as KYC documents.
- Location: your device location when needed to show nearby jobs, dispatch you to a customer, and update an active job. The app may use background location while you are online or working on a job so the service can keep your position current even when the app is not on screen.
- Job and payment records: requests, quotes, job progress, service history, wallet or transaction records, and support conversations.
- Device and app information: information needed to operate the app, diagnose errors, and keep accounts secure. The app may request notification and microphone access for job alerts and in-app calling.
How we use it
We use this information to create and protect accounts, check provider eligibility, match service requests, show job and route details, support customer-provider communication, maintain payment and service records, answer support requests, prevent misuse, and meet applicable obligations.
Who can receive information
Relevant profile, location, quote, and job details may be shown to the customer involved in a service request. Service providers that help operate the platform, such as hosting, maps, communication, and payment providers, may process information needed for those functions. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service.
Location and permissions
Precise location is important for matching and navigating to roadside jobs. If you deny location access, online availability, dispatch, and navigation may not work. You can change app permissions in Android settings. Going offline stops your availability for new requests; an active job may still need location updates. Microphone access is used for in-app calling when you choose to use that feature.
Storage and security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. We keep information only as long as needed for the service, support, disputes, security, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can review and update available profile information in the app. To request access, correction, or deletion of your account and personal information, use the in-app Help & support feature or email info@voyanx.com. See our account deletion instructions. Some records may need to be retained for legal, payment, safety, or dispute reasons.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page when the app or its data practices change. The date above shows the latest version. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
